Starting at the Starting Line: Project 365 Number 3

Day 1/365

Day 1/365

For the last few years I have been on a roller-coaster ride of photography, starting with my first 365 Project, which I started on a whim, not realising what I had ahead of me…

Then after I successfully completed it, I followed it 9 months later with a second 365 Project that took me to new places, and new challenging situations. In between project 1 and project 2, I also embarked on a different project, 100 Jump Photographs which set me up to take many more jumps in my second 365 Project.

On April 30th 2013 I completed the second 365 project and since then I have been knee-deep in work, and also writing a “How To” for 365 Projects eBook with my two sisters on The Bell Sisters, which will be available to pre-order soon.

Which gets me to this day… July 13th 2013 — the start of my third 365 project. I never thought I would start a third, but having done two, and realising how happy they make me, and how much you remember of each year because of them, I can’t resist it – even though (as I was reminded by my sister, Sasha – who is currently on Day 294 of her second 365 project) it is hard work, especially during the darker months… coming through and seeing the year in photographs, is so very worth it.

I hope you enjoy this start… see you in 365 days time, at the finish line.
