For the past two months we’ve been waterskiing at this stunning lake about 40 minutes from us.
Early this morning we went for the last time in 2010. The lake is closed until March 2011. Before I waterskied I filmed everybody else waterskiing and photographed the moments in between.
We were incredibly lucky, it was nice and sunny and although the water was absolutely freezing, at least it wasn’t freezing before we got into the even colder water! A lot of pretending it was warm and imagining that we were somewhat gloriously hot!
I used the fantastic EOS 5D mark II and my lovely Canon EF 85 F1/8 USM lens for the filming and photographs.
The Collection of Photographs
I took 150 photographs and 30 video clips.
Film Cips
Trimming, editing and simply uploading video clips isn’t something I ever do, so it’s taking me double the amount of time it should! But here are the first two clips Rosanna took of me, and the first clip of Sasha!
I will be adding more clips to this post later!
If that isn’t enough… here’s Day 89/365
But, if all of the above isn’t enough, here’s today’s 365 photograph! Day 89/365
Very much an “After waterskiing” photograph! The most amazing part is getting home and getting out of cold, dripping wet, wetsuits and jumping into a hot shower/bath as by that time, you’re quite numb with cold!
Bring on summer 2011!
Lots of love, Olivia
